I have heard 2 different pronunciation for the word premise; one was "prem-is" and the other one was "pre-mi-se". which one is correct. does they have different meaning.

@Gnawme,waiwai933: what is the problem with this question. one person was about to answer to my question, and just before that you closed this question. I thought this community will help me to improve my language skill, But now I am thinking less of Stackexchange. @Scorp Don't take it personal for having your question closed. The question itself is not bad but as the reason below explains, it's easy to find the answer on your own... For example on online dictionaries that provide the pronunciation too. :) – Alenanno Jan 15 '12 at 11:22
