Is there a better way to put this sentence to politely ask if my contribution to a request was of satisfaction?

Might this fulfil your request?

The is off topic, as explained in the FAQ. It might be better suited to be in Writers.SE, so I have voted to migrate it there. – Matt Эллен Dec 21 '11 at 12:25

What specifically makes this off-topic? – JeffSahol Dec 21 '11 at 13:20

@JeffSahol: this came across to me as "please improve my English", which is off topic, and a question of style, which should therefore be tackled by writers.se – Matt Эллен Dec 21 '11 at 14:37

@JeffSahol I doesn't seem to me to be asking about grammar or syntax, but about politeness and alternative forms. Although to be honest I haven't read the Writers FAQ, so I was a bit rash to vote to move it there. – Matt Эллен Dec 21 '11 at 15:36

Proofreading/critique/rewording requests are off-topic here and on-topic on Writers. They might consider this particular question too basic, though. – RegDwighт Dec 21 '11 at 16:39
