Do these two sentences have the same meaning? Generally speaking, should I prefer one above the other?
This question is too basic; it can be definitively and permanently answered by a single link to a standard internet reference source designed specifically to find that type of information. If this question can be reworded to fit the rules in the help center, please edit the question.
Marco, "perhaps" and "probably" are two different words. "Perhaps" means "possibly," not "probably." If you are uncertain of the meaning of such a simple, common word, you should look it up in a dictionary. That's what dictionaries are for. And I strongly recommend you check out the English Language Learners StackExchange site.
