I'm looking for a word that sums up or describes "a bad boy". A young guy who is confident, aggressive in personality, punky, rebellious, a bit rough around the edges, a bit badass.

Preferably a word that is not commonly used or includes profanity.

There are far too many possibilities, so it's Not Constructive. Use a thesaurus. – FumbleFingers Feb 22 at 1:11
Throughout his novel Hard Times, Dickens refers to such a character as a whelp. – Sven Yargs Feb 22 at 1:42
@FumbleFingers I /did/ use a thesaurus. I was unable to find anything suitable for its use, which is what brought me onto this site. Perhaps you could share some of those many possibilities rather than dub this not constructive? – user38041 Feb 22 at 3:58

A scamp or a rake, a wastrel or a reprobate — a hooligan by any other name.
