I'm afraid this is a bit off-topic, but I'm providing an answer, so that Bill doesn't hold a grudge against me. – Richard Rodriguez Jan 24 at 3:28
What do you think might be wrong with it? – KitFox Jan 24 at 3:38
I remember a headmistress once making the mistake of using "normal" to describe those children who didn't have disabilities, when talking to my mother, and receiving such a talking to that she would visibly blanch at the sight of her some fifteen years later. – Jon Hanna Jan 25 at 0:08

Yes, it is, but why not make it simpler?

Why not "Children with disabilities deserve the same opportunities as 'normal' students."? – Jim Jan 24 at 3:29
Sure, even better! Then again, you could go even further by not dividing children into groups, rendering the subject matter redundant, not having to form the sentence completely. – Richard Rodriguez Jan 24 at 3:29
